Ryan and Gabrielle have class. They made their own invitations, Ryan wore a bow-tie, they had their reception at Sitti Restaurant, and they chose Fred Fletcher Park near downtown Raleigh in which to get married. They also are just a lot of fun. They had a spectacular October day for their wedding that they wanted to be not too formal and not too laid back. Fred Fletcher park is just that and has easily become one of my new favorite spots for a ceremony.
Thanks to Rebecca Ames of Rebecca Ames photography for these wonderful pictures. She was a joy to work with. Ryan and Gabrielle had two friends, Kaitlin and Autumn who created a lovely string duo. I believe it was cello and violin.
Ryan and Gabrielle have been together six years and savored the months of their engagement.
Here Ryan is escorting his mother into the ceremony on the lawn in front of the house.
Gabrielle's mother is escorted in and you see Ryan and Gabrielle's attendants lined up to enter. Each mother read a poem during the ceremony.
It was such a lovely ceremony site. Ryan and Gabrielle decorated with origami white cranes draped from the trees. It was simple and elegant.
Gabrielle and Ryan went to Paris for their honeymoon. I'm sure it was fabulous! I wish them many many blessings and years of happiness.
